What’s good everybody. Well yesterday’s comments on the G-unit post were interesting to say the least. I got accused of being homosexual, I was once again asked to resign, and this groundbreaking, and extremely popular Hip-Hop site was accused of hating on G-Unit.
All the comments were appreciated, and the most important thing that I valued was the fact that everybody got their points across by being respectful. While some of you got out of hand, overall you guys kept it clean.
I got a “Poppin” or “Floppin” for you kind of. On the heels of Rich Boy doing his thing, with the explosive southern single “Throw Some D’s”, it looks like Kanye “to tha”, decided to snatch the beat and make his own version. He also shot a video for it. What y’all think? Is it disrespectful to snatch another up and comers beat and make a buffoonery out of it.
Oh and before y’all start in on me…I know Kanye aint got shit to do with Atlanta, but hey what can I say, THIS IS MY HOUSE!!!
As you all know I didn’t make it to the Roots concert, but I got some pictures for y’all to check out.

Black Thought rocked the crowd out.
?uestlove did his thing too.

Hip-Hop fans came out to represent. See people, Hip-Hop is universal!

Yeah, Herbz, we were in the house Sunday night. Black Thought thought it was a good idea to start rocking a bead chain. A couple white niggaz from da burbz followed him out to his Mazda and asked him politely for that shit. When he refused, we got all buckwild on his ass. What happened next, you ask? Well, lets just say, I'm feeling that Gucci Mane song, "So Icy." I'm rocking the wooden beads like they was Kanye's conflict diamonds. Black Thought on the other hand left wit a red mark on his cheek where a certain White Nigga Movement CEO slapped him. ?uestlove dipped out quick after someone pointed out that there was some kind of cucaracha/lizard creature living in his afro. Some of y'all thought the White Nigga Movement was too scared to come out of our cribs, but we was there. See the pic above for a couple members of the infamous OC clique. They been running shit from Atlanta to Oxford, GA for about 7 years now. Never been pulled over, once! I-20 is our highway to heaven. Holla back brothas...
Yo, did anyone see what happened between Reuben and Zack's friend? All I remember seeing was Reuben on top of Zack's friend and Zack was trying to pull him off. Then Reuben said, "Zack, get the fuck off me or I'm gonna kill you!" Zack backed up, then Reuben let the other dude up. Man, that shit was crazy! Someone said it all happened because of Cat, Zack's girlfriend. Man, all of this over a BITCH! I think Zack's boy thought that Reuben was trying to get up in Cat's nook nook without Zack knowing. This pussy then decided to take up for Zack and start shit with Reuben?! Are you fucking kididng me?! Man, that shit is fucked up. Someone should let Zack know, for real, that Cat gives up the nook nook to whomever she wants and she don't need to ask Zack for permission. Mmm... I know I'd sure like a piece of Cat's ass. She be lookin good y'all!
Funny how this cat can take such a watered down subject like your rim size and actually make SOMETHING out of it. Throw some D's bangs, but I hope that nigga dont come out with another song about rims. I hope that really plays itself out down south, and soon.
!
@ Matt Herbz & WNM07
You guys are nothing but clowns, don't nobody wanna hear your corny stories, you suburb punks.
Kayne's video is funny as hell...he works my nerves with all his diva antics, but he is really talented, as well as whoever came up with the concept for the video...its refreshing when he doesnt take himself too seriously...

Rapper Jay-Z Sells Clothing Company Rocawear For $204 Million In Cash
By Nolan Strong
Date: 3/6/2007 10:14 am
Rapper/mogul Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter has entered into a deal to sell clothing company Rocawear for $204 million in cash to the Iconix Brand Group, a company that licenses and markets such popular brands as Candies, Joe Boxer, Mudd, London Fog, Ocean Pacific and others.
The deal, which was announced today, (Mar. 6) could also net Jay-Z $35 million in Iconix stock, if the Rocawear brand meets certain performance requirements over the next three-five years.
"Iconix is pioneering a new brand management model and by combining Rocawear with their platform, my team and I can focus on our strengths in design and lifestyle
marketing." Jay-Z said. "I'm also looking forward to working with Neil Cole and the Iconix organization on other brand development opportunities."
Jay-Z will continue to be in charge of all product development, marketing and licensing for Rocawear, which boasts annual retail sales of over $700 million.
The rapper will retain his stake in the operating company the manufactures all of the Rocawear men's apparel line, and the mogul's two partners, Alex Bize and Norton Cher, will continue to ran the manufacturing company.
"This is the largest acquisition Iconix has made and Rocawear is a brand that is increasing in market share and has extraordinary potential for growth," said Neil Cole, Chairman and CEO of Iconix Brand Group commented. "The leadership team is already in place to fulfill our mission and we will maintain complete continuity within the business by having Jay and his team in charge of all product development, licensing and marketing. Jay and his partners in the operating company that manufactures all of the Rocawear men's apparel, Alex Bize and Norton Cher, will become our licensee for the core business. Iconix will add talent and resources that I believe will
help make Rocawear a billion dollar global brand. This acquisition will be transformative for Iconix in terms of its scale, the diversification it brings to our portfolio of brands as well as having someone as talented as Jay-Z joining our company and the many synergies that could bring."
Iconix is forecasting that Rocawear, which was founded in 1995, will generate almost $43 million in royalty revenue during the first 12 months of the agreement.
Iconix and Jay-Z have also reached a deal to form a new brand management/licensing company that will debut a new luxury brand titled The Shawn Carter Collection, which is due in stores in 2008.
The deal is expected to close this month.

Every time he snatched a cracker wit cheese he probably mumbled to himself, "A nigga gotta eat...a nigga gotta eat"
