as far as the report, there're only questions,like:
wasn't Wayne aware of the possible sales prospects of the mixtape? and the fact that Drama would benefit from 'em?
if he wasn't, then he prolly should be betta mad at his lable execs, not Drama
did Drama stole something from him personally?

lil wayne is a very talented emcee but i wouldn't be surprised at all if he did have something to do with this. Drama probably made a ton of money off of wayne illegally and i could see weezy getting real pissed about not getting paid.

Nah, even if Wayne was on camera doing a composite sketch of Drama while rattin he'd still sell. He'd lose all street cred (assuming he had any) but that wouldn't stop the money train (that goes directly to Baby's office @ CMR headquarters)

Drama gets mad love (especially in the South) so if it's true Wayne's career would be deaded in terms of collabos, but he'd still do the numbers when he drops.

In any case, the public has a short-term memory, so give it about a year, and no one would care anymore.

I'm confused. Drama had already been popped before Wayne said what he said. And technically he didnt snitch he made a comment when asked a question. Most artist know the DJ will make some money off of those CD's in the street. However, when that CD is being sold in retail outlets it's time to divvy them ends up equally. Apparently Drama was making "promotional" mixtapes (cause that's what they are supposed to be) and having them distributed nationally. I would have a problem with that. I wouldn't snitch, ever. And I dont think Wayne did either. STOP THESE FAKE ASS POST! THAT IS NOT SNITCHING!

This was blogged on by Billy Sunday like 2 weeks ago and the comments were alot more heated than on here.

Look at the quote above that Bayan dropped for us. Weezy is basicly admiting that he's heated about the situation. This is how it breaks down. The Label pays for the Mixtape to be made out of the marketing dollars for the album. Those arent ate by the Label, they come out of the rappers budget and/or advance. Then Drama turns around and sells the mixtape that the Label has paid him to produce. So he's getting paid on both ends. What is the real question is who owns the rights to the mixtapes. If the Label owns the rights, than Drama has no right to make money off of it. If the rights belong to Drama after the mixtape is released as a promotional device, than he can go bank off of it. It just sounds like LiL Wayne is gettin heated because his marketing dollars paid for the mixtape and Drama cakes off of it, and Wayne dosent. Thats what it comes down to. Wayne seems like he's catchin feelings about the situation, so if he didnt snitch directly, he may have made statements like the one above implicating or "dry snitchin".
The real fact of the matter, to me, is that the fucking mixtapes are BETTER than the major label releases. It's raw shit, no format, no A&Rs, no label execs telling you what can and cant be on the album. Maybe, if they gave the artists more artistic control, the albums wouldnt be shitty and they'd sell like the mixtapes, eh?
