Can Bow Wow Run His Own Record Label?

It seems that since Bow Wow's recording future is looking extremely bleak with the apparent failure of his latest album “The Price of Lameâ€.(Currently Bow's album is # 71 after only 7 weeks on the charts.) Bow is looking to reach out and create other business opportunities for himself.
While many strive to create their own record label within the music industry, many have also failed at making it a success. Look at Missy Elliot and The Goldmind Inc. Though she’s had the ability to make amazing beats and bring home platinum plaques for her and other A-list artists. When it came time for her to develop her own artists and make them into stars, she failed miserably. Might I remind you of Tweet, Nicole Wray, Gina Thompson, Mocha, Torrey Carter, etc. (If you don’t know who half those people are that I just mentioned, I’ve just proven my point.)
G-Unit front man and token bad boy, 50 cent, also created his own label that started off quite successfully. But, after multiple artists flops (Lloyd Banks, Mobb Deep, and Tony Yayo) G-Unit’s future is also looking very uncertain.
Bow Wow, who hit the music industry at the tender age of five, hopes to recreate the magic that propelled him to superstar status with his first artist, 13-year-old Young Jinsu.
In a statement Bow Wow said:
"I'm passing the Lil Bow Wow torch to Jinsu," this Bow Wow movement with teenagers, girls and kids goes back to Jermaine being a mentor, father figure and learning from him and watching him for the past seven years."
Young Jinsu, 13, is officially apart of Bow’s new labeled called The LB Dub Gang.
"This is my crew," said of his crew, which includes Clee-O, an 18 year old actor/rapper who has already been featured alongside Bow Wow in Roll Bounce and The Rock in Walking Tall.
What do y’all think, is Bow Wow ready to take on the industry and take control of a full blown recording label? Let’s not forget that when Jermaine Dupri took over as President for Virgin’s Urban Division, and Bow Wow went to JD seeking his own label, Jermanine told him no.
I’m wishing him all the best, but there is a big difference in watching a prolific music mogul like Jeramine Dupri, and applying that to your own business venture. Music CEO’s like Puffy, JD, Clive Davis, and Antonio LA Ried talents isn’t something you can manufacture. You’ve either got it, or you don’t.

but i think bow wow will do good. i think he's smart enough to target the kids, so i think he'll be okay. i dont know how he'll do as far as keeping his artists happy and wealthy. but im sure jermaine dupree is going to have his hands in it. ( more teeny bopper money for jd)

LB Dub(lol) should concentrate on acting, he's already did a few movies that made some money. Starting a label ain't as easy as it seems and especially if he doesn't have a great producer or big label behind him more than likely he's going to just end up wasting money that he's going to need when he's 40. I respect Bow Wow for being true to himself and not trying to be a killer/drugdealer/thug, but it's look like 15 minutes is just about up. Hell he should be proud of his accomplishments so far, he did alot for kid who don't write his own lyrics.
The problem is his fan base is growing up and nobody checking for him anymore. Them teenage girls who used to buy his albums are 18-22 now and a 5'2" 115 lb dude wit a bird chest just ain't motivating them to go buy the album.
Bow Wow would be good to step away for awhile and come back with a new look, like a young Jay-Z.
