Atlanta Moved To Las VegasThis Weekend And I Got The Pictures!!!

As I’m sure many of you already know, Atlanta was DEAD this weekend, as everybody was in Las Vegas for the NBA All Stars.

Hits don’t interest me. I can’t please everyone, and I’d be a fool to try. The comments on Sohh Atlanta aren’t and different then any other site on the web today. If I weren’t doing a good job, do you think the powers that be would have me still running it? It wouldn’t make good business sense. But don’t discredit what I do. I log a lot of time posting multiple entries—that’s right MULTIPLE entries. I’m only required to post two a day, but I often times exceed that because I love doing what I do. I strive to bring you all something different then the other blogs. I constantly give away free music for you to download, I bring you beautiful woman (by the way, watch out for tomorrow’s post because I got some pictures that your most definitely going to want to make your screensaver), and much much more.

Your not going to like everything that I write/post. That’s your right! But if you don’t like what I do, then might I recommend you gain the knowledge to get your own site and launch your own views an opinions for the world to share. It’s pretty easy actually. But something tells me that your just going keep complaining about Gyant being Gyant. Lol and its all good.

All your suggestions, are just that— suggestions! I show love to my undaground artits with my “Atlanta’s Own”. I also offer a wide range of topics and posts to suit everybody’s needs. I cant be everything to everybody. I just can’t, and I don’t try.

What you all need to do is get in accordance with the rest of the people…Nah, never mind scratch that. Keep your opinions. Continue to express your frustrations because I learned long ago that those who can do, and those who cant teach.

I see what you're trying to do, Gyant. I guess, trying to bring the celeb world closer to us, by keeping us (somewhat) in touch with what they're doing and all but...there's plenty of other sites for that. But there's not a lot of blogs/web sites telling us what's going down w/ the underground dudes.

Do you realize that all the music from ATL that goes mainstream has been big underground already for years? That means that by the time those dudes get big and famous and you're writing about them here, that shit is kinda old to us.

We need you to tell us about that nu-nu, you know? Atlanta is hot as hell right now, so the next big thing is most definitely still gonan be coming from us (despite what them bama, louisiana, and h-town fans might think...not hating on ya'lls music, but um...ya'll are still not the focus of this southern hip-hop thing. sorry). Anyway, Gyant, you can't sit up here and tell us that you don't wanna be the dude blasting open the newest underground shit before JImmy Iovine and the rest of those mainstream cats put their hands on it and water it down. You mean to tell me that you're too into thinking "I am who I am" to report on the relatively unknown? A huge part of journalism?

I hope that's not the case, man. I'm sure you got this job cuz you've got something that caught the eyes of the Sohh giants to hire you for, but this just can't be it. It's good to see a brotha with a legit job making a living (yes that's a direct stab at all you other ignorant fools who worship drug dealing hustles) doing what he loves so I don't like seeing everybody hating on your, but I can't really blame them. Ok, let’s put everything into perspective Tatiyana. First off I lets get one thing clear about the hate. EVERYBODY does not hate on what I do. While, I don’t want to give away my hits I get a week. My numbers CONSISTENTLY increase. I cant, and don’t concern myself with the 20 –40 people who may have negative things to say. They are a very small slice to a very large pie.

What I’m trying to do on SOHH Atlanta is something that has NEVER been done before.

A large part of my audience gets it. Sohh.com gets it. The few 20-40 that doesn’t, I’m not concerned. But trust, if I wasn’t doing a good job. I wouldn’t have one!

@ David Brown: why you on the atlanta blog if atlanta don't matter? and all ya'll northerners complaining about how atlanta killed hip-hop are dead wrong. as you can see in the next blog from today, even when hip hop was considered "alive" by ya'll, a lot of our music was still centered around partying and having a good time.

What you idiots are mad at is that your own people (new yorkers, etc. etc.) are buying into our music and nobody is playing yours. You just can't stand it. We didn't kill hip-hop, you guys are just more interested in our brand of hip-hop than your own now. Sorry to hurt your feelings, but it's gotta be said.
