I hope you all had a good weekend. I also hope the “DJ Drama†smoke has cleared. I read each and every one of y’all’s comments and the one thing people can't say about Atlanta is that we don’t have passion. I luv it!!

Yo also Gyant the next time you answer the comments here in your blog sweetie don't even address the haters because if you truely read them then you will see that they never show proof of their hate. It is like saying you will beat somebodies ass but never do it!!! You feel me? Honestly you have my support and others here that truely would want to hear a muti-angle opinion about things in the industry and not just some salty one-dimension opinion about an artist that is doing well when they are feeding us garbage, but honestly too if I see something that may have been written by you that I didn't like I wouldn't use ignorance and blast you to get my point across. So please just address us sane people that gives you the feedback that you deserve!! But if the negative feedback you recieve is done in a tasteful fashion then if your choice blast them but honestly you have people that trueeeeely respects what you are doing. I hate to see people complain about something but really will not give a true sane reason why they are mad or disgusted. Let's be better than this------Tigris

That’s the beauty, and one of the main reasons why I am in love with Hip-Hop and this magnificent city. It’s transcended all musical divides. You can hear Hip-Hop in virtually every musical genre out there with the exception of Classical, and Country. Monica is Hip-Hop, Lloyd is Hip-Hop, and hell even Britney Spears is Hip-Hop. Whether we like it or not it, Hip-Hop has taken over and influences everything.
It’s a brand new week so you know I got the weekly Poppin or Floppin video for y'all to check out. I’m posting the rappers who have the biggest following and their own southern swagger. I’m talking about Memphis, Tennessee’s own 8 Ball and MJG. They got a new video out. I’ve always been down with Premro Smith, and Marlon Jermaine Goodwin especially when they are, in my opinion, the creator’s of crunk music.. There new song “Relax And Take Notes†is that fiyah. I got to be honest, though they’re still kinda underground; I’m not feeling their affiliation with Bad Boy. Sorry Puff, but it is what it is. You know Bad Boy aint nothing in Hip-Hop anymore. Just look at your "Press Play" album sales.

I agree TOTALLY!! I've been listening to them since Coming Out Hard and to see them wind up at Bad Boy is heart breaking...I just don't feel that Bad Boy is the best place to showcase their talents or to give them the proper exposure...we know all too well the fate that becomes most artists signed to Bad Boy...but because I'm a fan I will support and buy their music no matter what label they are signed to.
Ball and MJG are the soundtrack to my childhool/ early teen years. Them niggas deserve alot more respect than they get. They last album was alright, Puffy didnt fuck it up as bad as I thought he would. I hope the next one is better. Im just waiting for they contract to be up with Bad Boy so that they come back down south. Wouldnt it be lovely to have Ball and MJG on Rap-A-Lot records??
I really don't think im buying Ball & G's new album either because the shit they're putting out is nothing like Living Legends,On Top of the World,or any other album they put out in the past. To be honest with you, 2 out of the 4 singles I heard off of the new album are plain garbage.Relax and Take Notes is aight but I feel they could've came harder than they did, "Fuck That" is hot but it's them bum ass niggas they got on the song with them that make the whole joint seem irrelevant,"For An Outfit" was trash from the beat to the hook,and "Ridin High" just makes them come off sweet.
My point is they need to lose Diddy and whoever else encouraged them to even ryhme over this bullshit,and Diddy needs to put them out there like he does Young Joc.

Bruh, I was saying Rap-A-Lot so they can keep it 3rd coast. Even though they from Memphis, I always associate them with Houston from they Suave House days. Second I dont even think there is a Def Jam South anymore, Im pretty sure its just Def Jam now.

The producer of relax and take notes is from New York, not all beats that sound like they from the South actually are, alot of producers gotta change they style now since south is what people are listening alot to.
