Before we get started I got to give a special shout out to NYC Diplomat for the love. Everything I do is for my hood and im glad y'all recognizing what I'm doing.

HEY SOHH GYANT, JUST WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU FOR BEING THE BEST BLOGGER ON THIS SITE MAN, YOU REALLY MAKE IT FUN TO READ YOUR BLOG, AND ABOVE ALL YOU REALLY DO TALK TO US LIKE FAMILY MAN. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

This video is almost a month old but I found it online and thought I would bring it to da family seeing that we got a lot of Young Jeezy fans who read Atlanata’s blog daily.

There are a few things that I feel need to be cleared up regarding how I feel about Jeezy. First, when I attended his concert event back in December, (as you all know) I had a bad time. As a result I reported on what my experience was just like I would have if I had a great time at his event. Though, my reporting was harsh, and I can admit that, it was the truth and more importantly it was, in my opinion, great journalism.

However, just because I had a bad experience at the “secret concert” doesn’t mean that I hate Jeezy, his music, or his new clothing line. Secondly, I don’t know Jeezy. I’ve never met him personally. I have seen him at events from afar but never had a chance to say more then two words to the rapper. But I still have a job to do and it’s a job that I take VERY seriously.

I’m no dummy! Just because an event has an artists name on it doesn’t necessarily mean the performer has anything to do with it. I understand how the industry works. But as a writer, and particularly a hip-hop writer (where I personally witness the most unprofessional situations known to man), it’s my job to tell the story as I see it. No matter what my experience was or continues to be, because I understand how the “business” works, it doesn’t deter or distract me from appreciating the music. That’s what makes me different from fans. A fan will be your fan until you piss them off and then they're over you.

Just look at Jay-Z for example. Everyone was screaming “Hova” when there was buzz about him returning to the hip-hop ring to “Rocky Balboa” it one last time. But not one week after his disappointing “Kingdome Come” was released. All his so called “fans” were hanging him out to dry calling him whack and a loser.

My opinions, no matter how harsh they may appear, are still at the end of the day just an opinion that doesn’t shape my view on the artist one way or the other. Maybe we should all start to look at our rappers, singers, and entertainers this way. They're just here to entertain you. So the only question you should ask yourself is “are you entertained?”

I hope to get an interview with Jeezy sometime in the near future. Show you all that I’m not some hattin negro from around the way.

V103 is about to embark upon a very important journey and its destined to make a BIG change in the A.
Atlanta’s popular radio personalities Frank Ski and Wanda, from the "Frank Ski and Wanda Morning Show," are setting out on a new journey. • The only cat's that can't appreciate Hov, and Nas's new albums (admittiningly after at least 2-3 listens-I can admit that) are young cat's that don't have enough life experience to get it, or older heads who refuse to grow up and stay stuck in adolecent behavior (please forgive any typos). These guys are legends for a reason. Yes, these are probably not the best offerings in their catalog's but still, it reflects their growth as men. And yes hip-hop is a "Youth Culture", but for the first time we have relevant M.C.'s on the verge on turning 40. makes no sense for anybody 27-30 years old to not "get" the message in these albums, unless their age does not reflect their maturity. At some point in time people you have to grow the fuc up. Peace! (P.S. selling dope and "bussing yo guns" does not make you more or less hip-hop or an M.C. Let's not forget it's just entertainment homie.)

  • Ok, im gonna say this now since im the second person to post this: Any niggaz on this site hatin on the south, remember that you are on Sohh ATLANTA a.k.a. a southern based website, which means that you're obviously on here to hate because you dont have no one else to listen to you whine and cry because we are makin money in the south, and not hatin. If you would stop hatin', then maybe you'd have money too, but since you too concerned with other people's lives, you get nowhere. Second, if you dont like our music, DONT FUCKIN LISTEN TO IT!!! Nobody's forcing you to listen to us, it's your decision. Anyway...

Im a Jeezy fan no matter what anybody says. I like his music, along with other people. I love music in general, so im not one to criticize artists.
Next, the issue on Atlanta: Has anybody else that lives here noticed that majority of the white people live in the northside and everwhere else belong to the black people?
