Alicia Keys Choreographer Tanisha Scott Serves Up More Dance Tips

Literally, I came out the womb dancing. My father was a DJ and my parents would always have me dance at their parties. My dad played at a lot of places and he’d always bring the kids. I was never formally trained, I actually never took any classes. When people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I’d always say “Belly Dancer.” I’d be downstairs while my dad was playing records, dancing with my shadow in the basement.
Whatever You Do Make Sure It’s a Representation of You
When you choreograph make sure whatever you do it's something that represents you, not just the dances you think are hot. People always come back to me because of my work with Sean Paul. People hire me based off that and that was really me. Beyonce wanted me to come on on "Baby Boy" and "Check Up on It," it’s like "I want that movement -- that girl that does that." Eve was the same thing, Alicia was the same thing. It’ll be like, "We want that style!" That’s pretty much my signature. When you get me that’s what you get; even Nas, "Bridging the Gap," which was really dope. It was challenging because it was a period piece. It was very 1960’s, but I had to stay true to the style of dance, plus he is a rapper and he’s never really had dancers like that. I had to respect that, so it was very classy and tasteful.

Born in Toronto, Canada to Jamaican parents, Tanisha (Tisha) Scott first caught our attention as a choreographer in her work with Sean Paul. Tanisha has gone on to choreograph for Alicia Keys, Eve, Ludacris, Beyonce and Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger among others.

This chick actually can dance... if you've seen her work before then you would know... even though I never seen Alicia Keys dance, but I still know that shes good.

FIRST off...... if you watch videos and pay attention to the artists, then you would know all or most artist DANCE....... some movement is given off at a show not always videos. Tanisha Scott is NATURALLY TALLENTED, if you haven't see her work don't COMMENT. She is blessed with talent most people don't have and most take lessons and she hasn't. SECONDLY I am a hugh Alicia Key fan and she was a shitty dancer, I've done the concerts and seen different shows she couldn't dance until Tanisha got her, now she has swager to her steps. Last Bobby Drake suck a DICK, don't act like you know talent or skills......2007 American Music Awards WATCH what TANISHA's talent did for Alicia Keys, then talk to me!
