Today Slip-N-Slide's Diamond Princess releases her fourth album Still The Baddest which features appearances from Missy Elliott, Keyshia Cole, Pitbull, Rick Ross and Plies among others. 24 Hour Grind caught up with one of the last ladies standing in hip-hop to find out the key to her continued success.

Let Your Mistakes Make You A Better Artist
The industry is so big and full of different things, you’re going to make mistakes because you’re going to have a vision and your vision may not be the next person’s vision. There are going to be things that will happen so you just have to know it comes with the territory and continue to keep your eye on the prize and stay focused. It’s about being grounded and focused, because even picture perfect at the end of the day we all make some kind of mistake. There is no way around it, you have to get in and learn and see. You’re not going to become a great performer until you’ve gone through the stage fright, the being scared or forgetting the words sometimes or not having a great crowd. You have to go through all that to be great. It’s the same way in the business; you have to go through a lot of bumps before you can feel like you’re in the zone, mistake free.
