Word on the street, according to my sources say that those shoegasmic gladiators are from the Balenciaga 2008 collection, and whilst they resemble the kickers on the front page of balenciaga.com, I’m just not quite sure. SOHH last week my H&M Atlanta dreams finally came through, and let's just say, aside from some great accessories, I’m just gonna go ahead and anticipate their fall collection. Dare I say that I was only mildly impressed? Yes I dare, this is not my Times Square H&M, but damn if my head, wrists, and eyes aren’t covered with the finest inexpensive accessories this side of well….Atlanta. Peep a few quick shots of opening day mayhem, lines that wrapped around 2-3 buildings, 2-3 hour waits, some crazy hot sun & an interesting breed of patience.

Father’s Day is this coming Sunday, and I think it’s really important to show some love for all the dad’s out there doin’ the most (and what they’re supposed to do) taking care of their children. My dad has been in my life since the day I was born and I don’t know where I’d be without him. To that end, I had a request for a lil Will Smith a couple weeks ago, and when I ran across these recent shots of him with his son Jaden at last weeks MTV Movie Awards, his [always] great style was the 2nd thing that stood right out to me! (Canary Yellow Cardigans with black, red & white Nike Dunk Lows?? Yes Please!!)

SOHH I thought what a great tradition to start: An Annual 1224Style Most Fashionable Father! This Year Mr. Smith is my pick. Ever since he married Jada [Pinkett-Smith], he’s NEVER disappointed on a red carpet or television screen!! His dedication to his family and marriage (He says divorce is just NOT an option) is beyond admirable, and is a commitment that is unfortunately growing more and more scarce in many communities and households. But the reality is, that for every 5 African American fathers who’s walked away from their responsibilities, there's at least 1-2 that haven’t. Good times, bad times, bad marriages or financial woes, there are fathers who understood the responsibility of the life they helped create and made their children a committed priority. To those men, I salute you. Thank You. Happy Father’s Day!

I don’t remember why I chose not to post the original story about Jill Scott’s new line of bras she’s launching with Ashley Stewart, but never the less, Wednesday night Jilly from Philly celebrated the official debut of her “Butterfly Bra & Underwear” collection. She’s so gorgeous, so I won’t say anything ‘not nice’ about her or her guest’s get-ups. See? Easy!
