What’s a Friday without a little fly footwear?
I know I’ve been lacking on my fly footwear Fridays, but nothing has really turned my head until this week when Rihanna was on her GGGB re-release promo tour. She hit up TRL in these CRAZY Giuseppe Zanotti Lace Up boots and I just had to go find em for you! While the boots seem to not exist on my internet super highway, I did manage to score front row seats to its equally appealing pump version. SOHH go ahead and dig in! Will you be taking these to go??

While I’m not exactly sure why we’ve been seeing so much of Ms. 1 Thing so much lately, my spidey senses are tingling that something is on her horizon and her stylist is demanding that we pay attention! Over the last month or so, she’s been on many a red carpet and I’ve yet to be disappointed in any way.

The Much Music Video Awards were held in Toronto last night, and look who was on hand to “take a bowâ€, our good friend Rihanna. I know it’s been a while since we’ve seen her in our neck of the woods, but that’s primarily due to her lack of style worthy coverage….until NOW. Submitted for your approval is: (pic 1) RiRi arriving at the MMVA’s in this black & white buckled dress. By the time she hit the stage, she’d channeled her inner Village Person, hitting the post award carpets/press room like so.

Meanwhile, back in celebrity land, the swagger was in full effect all weekend as some of our favorite stars were out and about, performing for the Today’s show, going to the dentist, leaving business meetings, you know the regular stuff we all do. Anyway, you know the game, who’s weekend style gets you’re thumbs up? Who’s….just doesn’t?

Its weird because for some odd reason, whenever I used to hear the name Marc Jacobs, I’d think of Mark Ecko and would therefore not pay much attention to either. But damn if my senses weren’t forced into perspective when I ran across MARC JACOB’s 2009 Resort collection! Its about 3AM and I’m sitting here overdosing on this tapestry of colors, textures and HEARTS! Trust me you NEED to get into this! So go ahead and indulge, quick, while you’re boss isn’t looking!
Resort Fashion season is in full swing and the collections keep coming! Though the season began in May, it will last well through mid summer as designers showcase their 2009 collections.
DONNA KARAN’s collection made quite the buzz as she presented “Bonjour New York†on Tuesday night. Filled with a “very girly†flare Karan dabbles in indulgent pinks, feathers & bows receiving rave reviews from her peers.

It seems everyday I keep running into new stories to post about the cast, so as long as u all are down to keep the momentum going then so am I! The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) held their invitation only 2008 CFDA FASHION AWARDS Underwritten by Swarovski, last night in NYC. Among the A-list guest were some of our 1224Style favorites: Eva Longoria-Parker, Naomi Campbell, and (first time posted) the very posh Victoria Beckham (w/ that arch and THOSE SHOES!).
