...And speaking of dishing on celebrity style--let's rewind the Grammy's shall we?

Kelis & Nas: One word: DESPERATE. As in Nas is so desperate for record sales, he's used this disrespectful, hateful and hurtful tactic to gain publicity. On a style note--I'm absolutely digging Kelis' metallic gold leggings and ruby red lips.

Beyonce: I absolutely love the new hair: the length, textured deep waves and two-toned color are a total hit! However I'm super tired of Beyonce wearing traveling, silk curtains as dresses.

Rihanna: The sapphire blue dress lands just right--at the knee--and really pops on her skin tone. I'm also digging the neon nails and shorter hairdo.

Kanye West: The techno/disco jacket was great for his stage performance, but screamed "Homeboys in Outer Space," on the carpet.

Fantasia: Whew. O-kay. The dress is a total hit--her body and skin looks fantastic in this piece! However the hair is a totally different story. it’s just...just… wrong for Fantasia. On its own it's great and very Kelis, but Fantasia should have kept it all black and opted for a layered bowl cut or just copied Rihanna's previous bob.

Alicia Keys: Always a hit! The classic silhouette of this dress really draws attention to her lovely eyes and even lovelier hairdo. I love the fact that Alicia has moved her style forward from the cornrows, bubble jacket and high-heeled Timbs to full, soft deep body waves, sexy sweater dresses and playful accessories.
