I've quite a few mixed feelings on the Sean John collection and the show itself. Off the bat, the looks down the runway-honestly are NOT going to be worn by any straight man. To confirm this I asked several dudes in the audience including a "Wall Street" type, a model and a regular dude from around the way--who all said--"nope."
The cropped tummy jackets, sparkly scarves and all over red suit seemed more suited for his womenswear collection. On the other hand I loved the music which Diddy himself curated--lyrics included homage to the beauty of being black--and his use of ALL BLACK models in the show was a breath of fresh air. If you are up on your fashion game you will know that the lack of color on the runway is a SUPER HUGE issue right now.
